i decited to make some sci fi stuff and assets, just something different then a animal this time.
I made everything to snap together. the first and the maintenance sections, the hall etc etc
Made different version of the hall with 2,3,4,and 5 doors with and without windows.
T-sections and cross-sections for both the corridors 1 floor and second floor.
A corridor section ready with a shaft for a lift(elevator) stil wip, but getting there.
animated door that fits the corridor, and offcourse a animated round door, that fits the maintenance sections
Monitors and screens, and pipes still to make

Corridor 1 floor:

Hall without windows:

Hall with windows, and the maintenance sections on the second floor.

Maintenance corridor and the animatedround door:

Lift shaft:

The maintenance corridor:

And the last a video of what i got this far:

And comments , tips, etc are Always welcome

Harry

Hi Harry. Excellent work.
A few days ago, I also began to prepare the theme SCI-FI. This could be a competition.

Looking great Harry,

Would things have a bit more specular on them? Lots of metal stuff. Maybe some red and blue and green illuminations here and there would look cool also.

Cant wait till we can get a bit of reflection on the stuff, and these will look Killer.

Thank you all.

I adjusted the the specular , and everything is more glossy right now.. much better.
Thanks to pyrate myke i also got a illumination map, that everything look even better with that.

hopefully soon in the store,
But now working on the lightmapping, the problem i have is that i have buildings with windows, like the elevator and the shuttle and some halls
The lightmapping does not work with these assets with windows.

Is the glass a separate asset? one way around it would be to lightmap it and put the glass in after.

Not really the best way of doing it but ok for a quick fix.

Looks great by the way !

Thank you Emrys,

It is working now, Lee give me the tip to group it as a seperate mesh in the model or just like you say, make it a seperate object.
Both work. i've group them as a seperate mesh in the object and now it is working.

So anyway also thank you for the suggestion.

really cool video....
nice work

Quote: " can you provide pilot lessons for the shuttle...."

Sure it can be done through a special home study by Dagored Associated Colleges and you get a State accredited master course
its not cheap, i can tell you that

ps
remove this part : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= between the brackets. so only this part stays between the brackets: 0CWUaKFBgmc
easier is to just paste this part in your edit screen 0CWUaKFBgmc then select it, and choose from the video link above YouTube, and the
system filles in the rest of the code.

I changed the "droid.LUA" script and named it "droid1.LUA" as a different new script. I replaced "FireWeapon(e)" to "HurtPlayer(e,v)" (e,10) and changed
"local attack_range = 440" to 40. This changes the new droid to get close and destroy you , funny is the droid is pushing you till you die. Maybe an idea to have different kind of droids in your game.

Harry, I saw in the corridors , the droid characters seems to have difficulties with the shape " <> " of the corridors when the droids enters the triangle corridors they stop. Is it possible to change the FPE file or the script to solve the problem?

did you try it with waypoints?

They are characters , and walking in buildings give the same problems as the stock characters.
i don't know if its allready possible to detect a wall, or other objects with characters.
