3rd Party Models/Media Chat / error on import model player stuck on the model

Hi I'm make some models in 3ds for my incoming scifi proejct and importing them into GG

my model has only a sigle texture _D in .dds format (with corresponding .N .S )

model is showed right but when character approx near the model /the wall in this case) remains stuck like in a cobweb..

this thing happened in the past to me several times with some third party models but I cannot figured how to solve the problem since these wasnt my model..

Just a idea to test
Make sure all the vertices are welded together ( that are supposed to be welded offcourse)
, so that for sure it is one piece.

yes vertices are welded and the model is one piece...

Can you show me a screen shot in 3dmax please with the 4 view, and the grid on. wire frame for all views.

solved...changed the collisionmode to 0 and now works fne ...i know this is not the best method but a workaound but for the momet it's fine for me

I had similar problem importing old FPSC segments/prefabs into GG, but once I changed collision to polygon from the GG importer all was well.
Professional Programmer: Languages- SAS, C++, SQL, PL-SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Darkbasic Pro, Purebasic, others
Hardware: Dell Precision 490; AMD Radeon HD 7570; LG TFT monitor (widescreen).
