So I got done watching this tutorial:

An undocumented, and important point, was brought up regarding importing models into GG around the 23 min mark. Ravey talked about this image:

Haven't seen anybody talk about this or any documentation update on it, but how important is this for importing my own 3D rigged character models? Do I really need to create all the limbs within Blender with those names from the image to have the model animate properly? Or will there be a GG update to automate this or something?

I haven't messed with custom characters in a while, but the limb names should be irrelevant. As long as your character is in the .x format, you only need to reference the correct animation frames in the .fpe (and, if necessary, in any lua script.) These may and probably will vary from the stock characters, of course.

Yes you don't need to have the same limb names, but FIRESPOT has to stay as FIRESPOT if you want your character to shoot as GG looks for this name in the engine.

If I model a gun, I only need to include the FIRESPOT limb, right?

For a human character it doesn't matter?

If you want the character to fire from the right hand or left hand or somewhere else then you need a FIRESPOT limb, I think if remember rightly if you don't have a FIRESPOT then the projectile is fired from the centre of the character but not 100% sure.

Never before have worked with organic, and now I'm trying to model arms + hands for my paramotor , my question is:
Since there are many limbs reported for a character in the fpe file, and considering that I'm just modeling arms and hands, many of these limbs do not need them, so what sould I do in this case; Skipped limbs who do not need in my fpe file? and only declare arms, hands.
Nor need firespot, since this will only be a vehicle to move.

Thank in advance for any tip

Man, this is seriously confusing. Do I have to include the FIRESPOT limb with a rigged hand that uses melee attacks or is it just for firing a gun?
