This is gonna be a nice lifesaver for everyone; thanks for sharing.
Working on my first game in RPG Maker VX Ace, I also seek to develop a game in GameGuru that could have a similar gameplay structure to Deus Ex.

Nice overview, thank you! When you import the mesh and then the wizard skeleton into fragmotion, don't you have to assign vertices to each bone and weight accordingly? Or does fragmotion do that automatically? If I were to ask for a more detailed explanation, that would be it! Skeletons, meshes, and I do NOT get along very well, lol.

Nice video, although as many do, it puts me off with all the conversions and such needed. I'd need a good free day to play about with this sort of thing, which I keep meaning to do, but keep putting off as I hate it, lol. For us GG users who don't use fragmotion ever, having some more of the steps shown would be good I wouldn't do the entire rig, but explaining some of the key steps would probably help us more. My attempts in the past have always resulted in a static model, but I always use the rig setup in Blender (created by Mixamo or Makehuman), rather than another one.

Nice to see Mixamo characters can be used though, as I got it not too long back with that in mind. However the polygons seem very high and as said I never had much luck with getting them in to GG. I seem to remember it crashing the importer completely.

More detail would be great if you have the time.

Is it possible to use the animations that Fuse generates in the Cloud at all..?

Guys , if u notice that the character issue is the most important part of the game , if u could notice even since the past FPSC Classic , all the screen shot and the levels made are fabulous but no characters . as if we know that it would corrupt the beautiness of the scene
any way , I guess we are doing it the wrong way.
Why dont we just try to make the appropriate tweaks on the lua script so we can use whatever skeleton available and what ever motion sequence we wanna use

I love the Maximo Fuse characters and made an elf character that would be fun in GG. Has anyone tried this with Blender? A tutorial with Blender (if it's possible) would be great for those of us who don't have funds to buy Animer. There are addons for Blender to import and export X files, and I can dig up the links if anyone wants to give it a go.

Thanks for the pic, for some reason my HUD.x I've made, the weapon is not attached to the characters' hand but instead it teleports to where its head is and does not animate with the arm. Using Blender to animate, really confused.

Great tutorial. One question: is Animer strictly necessary for this? I can't buy it right now (month salary here is about 300 USS, so...). Thanks in advance

That's awesome! I would love to see how to do this stuff with Blender, especially importing animations from Blender into GG if it's possible (or do we need other animation software?)!
