Hello,

I want to make my own stuff and i can convert all file types but i was wondering, what is the difference between .X and .dbo?

I believe dbo is a compressed file that loads faster into GG and x files can be text , compressed text and binary

It is advisable to have the model in x file.

Yeah you're best off with .x format. Every .dbo exporter I've used has been spotty at best, and most are still in "beta" though they've been around for many years.
