Sadly not working! The entity still move not with the mouse pointer, instead it seems like it move potentially to the mouse pointer
My dream is to develope games, which makes fun when I create it and fun when other people play it.

Hi Corno1 ... when you say it moves to the mouse pointer ... does it actually centralise when you stop moving the mouse ?
and are you referring to top / down view .

I refering to top down view and this bugs now only comes when I move the entitys up with pageUp or pageDown. For example when I want to place a barrel on a hill. The bug gets worse, with each unit height the entity is. It does not centralise when I stop moving the mouse.

Hope this helps

Still super choppy or laggy in regular edit mode, not f9 mode. Its not my PC.. Guru ran super smooth with prev version of Guru.
P.S I did not join in 2015. Ive been backing this project from day one. When I switched to steam it messed up my account....... Just so ya know

Hi JackalHead

0.29 isn't really the original 0.29 ..... its only to rectify the mouse pointer bug and was released just for this purpose...
Other issues and bigger update will probably be rolled out as 0.30 now

much better now on the mouse position, as corno said if you start adjusting the height of entities (page up/down) it does get out of sync again but strangely if it adjusts to match the terrain height (automatically from pressing enter) while moving it doesnt.... certainly an improvement from before anyway

I'm still seeing the cursor offset issues. It's just not as bad as before. Maybe this has to do with the free-flight? (Even though I didn't use it at all in any of these screenshots.)

EDIT: This kind of seems like a perspective view of entity/light editing now that it's been fixed. Is that right or is it still offset?
2ND EDIT: I have no idea what the red dot is about in the middle. Maybe another bug? It didn't do this when I tried another new level.

It looks like old "dbPositionMouse(dbMouseX(), dbMouseY());" issue.

Quote: "I tracked down the cause. The mouse position calculations are scaled according to the current window size (i.e. if the window has been resized by the user, maximized, etc). And the scale is a floating point calculation. However the input and output position information is quantized to integers. So there is continuous truncation of essential precision needed to keep the mouse stable.
