Hi there...

I like modeling in 3d. From time to time I'll publish some freebies here too.
Criticism, tips or advice are welcome, because I'm not perfect and I like to learn.
Requests are also welcome.

Maybe it sounds nerdy but i love 3d models, really, they are like toys for big guys haha
U have to add also the x file otherwise it would be work.
Is that really your model? Can u prove that? This church doesnt look like it where made in a half hour i guess it was hard experienced work.I made a similar thread and posted models from the web cuz i didnt know its not allowed. The best way would be if u record a video with fraps during modeling and share it here so we can be sure.If u r really the creator i apologize.

That's a great Model !!
There is no reason to doubt he did not make it and he has stated its his own creation.
As far as I can see he has followed the guidelines.
We only usually get suspicious about those that say " here's a free model " with no info on where its from

Really? I don't have a .x file and it works here anyway. However, I created one with fragMotion. Hope, it helps.

Quote: "Is that really your model? Can u prove that?"

I'm pretty sure. Why should I prove that?
I don't think I need to prove that to anyone, either.
If you don't believe that, don't use it. Very easy.
Prove to me that the model isn't mine...

Quote: "The best way would be if u record a video with fraps during modeling and share it here so we can be sure. If u r really the creator i apologize."

Did other creators provide video evidence? Couldn't find something like that in the forum rules.
Can you be sure that the models from the shops are own creations?
I just wanted to be friendly and give something back to the community.
I certainly won't do any more work with a video. The creation of the model is really time-consuming enough.
Building in Sketchup needs a day. Texturing in 3DCoat needs another one. (Professionals certainly don't take that long, but for me it's just a hobby.)
That's why I want to share the model. Too bad to use it just for myself.
So far I've often shared pictures of my models in DeviantArt. Have a look...

Well okay iam sorry seems like u are the author of that, got little bit suspicious cuz u wrote modestly "iam not perfect and like 2 learn" and then u post a great model like thatAnd because iam 100% sure i saw this winged goblin statues allready somewhere else
TY 4 the church model,no harm, peace
EDIT: Okay i know where the statues are from, its the gargoyle model from the scenery folder LOL
the church not worked cuz in the fpe is an dds file and the textures are jpg, changed the them to png all fine now.

Well, that model isn't perfect. Whenever I work on a project, I notice things afterwards that I could have done better. So it's a constant learning process...

Yes, I forgot to mention the Gargoyles aren't included. They're from the "scenery" folder, but they're a perfect match for the church.

It's called a hostile takeover...
Btw., especially the roofs of medieval churches are full of strange animals and stone grimaces.

Gargoyles are a very common feature of gothic style christian churches (13th century), look at any of the famous big churches from that period, they're everywhere. They were originally functional and the mouths acted as rain spout, the word gargoyle actually translates literally to "throat"

Im actually happy the Gargoyles are separate.
That way users can make a choice to add them ( or anything else ) depending on what they want it for.
They do look cool though

And here are two doors (not only for the old house). Both are animated. Have fun with it...

Quote: "could u make a house like this 4 me pls?"

@osiem80, maybe. Never did something like that before...
But you should be a little more specific. For me, the picture looks like a house shot at in a war zone. Could also be a house rotting away. Or a building in a slum. What exactly do you imagine? More example pictures?

Not really, @osiem80. Looks for me like cottages.
The houses themselves are not very interesting, but I like the windows of the second example. The pictures are quite small. Is that corrugated iron on the roof?
I created a basic shape. The question remains: Should I destroy it?...

No, I didn't. Not really, at least.
I think I have to find my workflow first. But I'll definitely consider it.
Also because I actually enjoy modeling more than game development.

Here's a new model for you, a damaged cottage.
The rooms are accessible, except the attic. For this you need a ladder.
There's also a new animated door (for the cottage).
Have fun...

That's not really a compliment when you consider the quality of some of the current DLC's to be honest

(note: before anybody gets their panties in a twist, i'm only joking, although to be fair some of the earlier DLC's aren't much more than "ok" even with the recent pbr updates)

Nice model fumar , the only thing I would change is the rounded edges in the roof and floor damage holes and give them some strait edges. You should put a pack together for the store there great standard models .

That's true, Dave. That needs more realism. Next time I'll try to make it better. I promise.
That's exactly what I meant when I wrote further up that I was always learning.

Today I have an older model for you, but because I like it somehow, I adapted it for GameGuru. Unfortunately not accessible, sorry...
