Hi guys
Working in a horror pack, I've got the idea because the user's comments in thread. They claim for thinks like:

Quote: "Dolls heads rotating when near"

Quote: "Moving walls"

Quote: "Ghosts coming out through walls to the other wall in corridors"

Quote: "Mirrors that show ghosts"

Quote: "Swinging lights"

Quote: "Object float spin in room
Think poltergeist when they enter room"

Quote: "> Pictures that change briefly when near, then change back.
> Pictures falling off the walls"

Quote: "Ball rolling out of the shadows."

Quote: "Portrait pictures whose eyes follow you around while you are at a distance,
but will become steady and flat when you get close to examine them"

Quote: "corpses squirming with maggots"

Quote: " slightly undulating/distorting passages"

and many others:

And all in action:

Feedbacks, suggestions, are welcome.

Note1: Quote some users just to tell how I've got the idea, nothing else!
source
Note2: The house, the windows with their own big one drops as I want them, and of course the tgc stuff appearing in the video, does not belong to the pack, is just a showcase; anyway if someone like these hose to use it as guidance or as start point, I can include into the pack as bonus.

Glad you like mate.
With the "Swinging lights", well... waiting for dynamic shadows.

Working in more stuff, I would like to convert some room in authentic poltergeist zone, but it implies having to destroy the room or the whole house, I don't know if the user wants a destroyed house, it would also involve including a house, of course.
The consumer has the last word.

Working in a poltergeit house.
The walls bend over themselves, others inflate like faces, the ground folds over itself forming waves., in a room there will be a girl like that of the exorcist movie and she won't let you pass in, real chaos inside her room, a lot of noise, voices from beyond the grave, uhgggg.

Roof will fall down, exploding into several chunks, rain outhere, stair broken, furniture rolling and(or flying, even hurting player, and so on.
After the chaos most of the meshes textures will change, most like pos-apo, to fit the situation.
Well that's the idea, so alot of work is coming.

Thank you colleagues for the kind words.

Dealing with animations, X file does not support anims made via cloth modifier.
X file just want keyframe animations.
Being able to export fbx file with anims included, would be nice.

hi great model and great pack so far .. but i thing i relyy think is missing andthat GG missing too(and that sincerly will make to purchase the pack for sure LOL) is to add a flashlight model+hand(better if with a battery system , light flicker ect) firetorch+hand(with torch that need to be ignited and torch fading over time ) and had+candle or lighter( same mechanics like the firetorch)
think to walk in a black mansion with only the soft candle light to light the area.. this could be cool..
the hands mo del could be the stock ones so we can have a coherence with the stock GG hands all Gg users have..tihs could set the pack to new level imho..

let me knew what do you think

Hi guy, welcome again.
Thanks for suggestion.

Hud with torch and/or candle and so on, will be a good step for the "Horror pack vol II"; anyway if I done some go, it would be with my own huds.

Now I'm working on creppy manors with a bunch of ruin inside, really abandoned, and the worse, haunted mansions; so customer can build their "hell town" with their horror story attached.
Question is: Dare you step inside this eerie abandoned houses? LOL

Well as you can see is there a lot of work to do.

Still have not idea haw to do so, using the less polys as posible, but I'm going to try, and it can be a very complete pack, at least that's the idea.

Hjad you like mate.

Do not plane to deal with hand huds right now; doing a flashlight, candle, or torch without do not make sense, since these assets already are in stock, just add some script to on/off the light.

@ JC LEON
Related work with hud are another different world, nothing to do with this I'm doing now, do not want to lose the target; as I said before, maybe the second pack. Anyway ty for the suggestion.

Hi 3com. Radical. I'm sure a fan of what you are doing. Ooooh spooky!
Creepy levels with a real story going is way better than the typical mindless
bloody shoot em up we get all the time here.

So I'm a fan like I said and I don't mind offer you a little something if you would
like-- if you need some real English "sayings" (short, recorded voice snippets)
for this pack to go along with some of them, I'd be willing to record them--
no problem. Could be male, female, and child sounds...
Of course gratis-- no strings. So you could P.M. me if interested!

Do you use Audacity? That's the best way I've seen to modify sounds.
So even if it didn't seem perfect at first, that should give unlimited variety.
Another way to get this would be to use Audacity on the computer
generated speech also... I'm sure you know this!

Thank you very much friend for your generous offer.
Unfortunately GG does not provide support for facial animation, as long as this does not change I refuse to include voices in my models, as it is not realistic.
I tried here but I am not entirely happy with the result.
In the "product chat" forum I think I remember posting a thread on the subject, here
I reiterate my thanks for such kind words, this encourages me to move on.

I have thought about working a little to add some different behavior in zombies, something like "The walking dead", this is what I have achieved so far :

It can serve if you stay locked up, without ammunition, and without possible exit; In these cases a good distraction can help.

Eh guys, working on the zombies improve behaviours, thinking another different way to avoid zombies, so please:

Imagine a scenario.
The player has no ammo and needs to walk between the horde without the zombies noticing his presence. Like in twd.
There they anoint themselves with the guts of the zombies, here in GG the player will use a lotion called ZLotion that will allow him to walk among the zombies, but be very careful, the duration of the effect is limited, therefore you must be very fast.

In the video I will wait for the effect of the lotion to pass, therefore my situation is not very good.

working to get the zombies back to the initial script, when player dies, in the next try. The goal here is the player can try all the times he want to.
As you can see in the vid, player can get ZLotion to try again.

Taking this as puzzle the player has to solve, he will be able to try as much times as he want to, and allways with the same resources like the begining.
Unfortunatelly it does not due GG does not reset the global variables, between tries.
I've posted something about on github thread.

I'll wait a bit to see what happens, meantime I'll work on the spooky wooden manor.

@ GubbyBlips
Thanks mate.

@ Tarkus1971
Glad you like mate.

@ all
Continuing the horror story, and given that the rich landowners lived in the mansion, the slaves lived in the wooden mansion.
It is a pity that GG still does not support facial animation, since I had prepared a zombie to explain it, since it is still not possible I will narrate it very briefly.

How many the townspeople that grandfather Jeremiah amassed his fortune with the slave trade.
The Grandfather bought the island, built the mansion, and also dedicated himself to the cotton plantation.

Among the slaves there was a beautiful native of whom grandfather fell in love.
The forced romance continued until the slave named Tabita became pregnant.

My grandmother when she found out what was happening, forced the grandfather to kill Tabita.

The townspeople tell that Tabita is buried on the island.
They also tell that Tabitha was a princess in her tribe.
And they say that since then Tabitha cursed all the male offspring of the family, and due to the curse, the grandfather had no male heir.
They also say that Tabita's ghost walks around the island looking for her son.

Do you dare to look for the son of Tabitha and also the cameo, which the grandfather took from her?

Spooky wooden manor, what I've so far:

Thanks guys for watching my pics and my vids.

Spooky wooden house2
In this house I have decided to leave as much space as possible so that you can decorate it to your liking, with your own objects.
You can decide what each room will look like, what room you want to use or if you want to use them all.
There are 20 rooms and all will have lively doors, you can use these doors as dynamic or as static and kept closed, they can be locked or unlocked.
This house is designed to develop a complete level.
If you add the problem of the broken light and that you have to fix, well just check out the zombies below, how do you plan to get to the generator?
Well guys, they are just ideas of how you can use this pack, the rest is your thing.

@ JC LEON
There is not eta since it is not an official pack, anyway I think about mid october it will be release, at least I hope so.

Due to the question of several clients, I believe in the obligation to offer some explanation,
I didn't want to have to do it because it has nothing to do with this forum, but hey, here we go:

Important
I will not go deeper into this topic, as I said before it has nothing to do with this forum.

Current events in my country (Catalonia) force me to contribute to different activities in order to achieve the objectives set.
Real life is not leaving me much free time, and this is rather a mega pack that includes a certain amount of items and requires special attention.
Many objects require user intervention (I am not sure to include them in the pack for this reason), and others require optimal engine work, for this reason I have preferred to wait for the last update of the year, to try them one by one and be sure that they work as expected, after all they are not just static cardboard boxes that do nothing, but decorate the scene.

If we add Christmas to all this, I think that until January I will not have some free time.
I apologize to all customers who are waiting for this pack, but it will be worth the wait.

Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year to everybody.
