In Blender, you can make custom weapons for the game guru. I am sharing a link of a video in which you will have step by step guide:

Blender is also good software but 3DS MAX Design is very easy to use. First I used a blender for my animation work but later my friend suggested 3DS MAX Design I am really enjoying it. I will recommend you try this
