install adblock plus and you won't see them at all.

Still think it looks naff to have your main product name on top of fold home page obscured by large ads on landing page. Irrespective of if that’s a free competitor product advert.

Most likely conveys a definite impression on new people landing there and helps bounce out.

I guess it maybe an experiment to see if it’s worth it?

yes had the same awful ads this morning. totally unnecessary. blocking it.

Most of the ad's that pop up will be sense related to your own search's or history.
Im getting GameGuru and DLC ad's that are far cheaper than Steam or the main GG site which is Kind of counter productive. Its worse on a Mobile device as it covers most of the screen.
Doesnt look good at all.

The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Just need a add block for my tv now and I would be a happy bunny ,TGC site adds look Cheap and nasty and ruin the overall feel of the site

Nothing to be aware of to be honest, it's Google AdSense, what shows up is related to your cookiee, browsing, and search history, that's how AdSense works, the websites don't get a choice, the other day I was getting adverts for ue4 on a website dedicated to unity tutorials.

The adverts were added at the request of TGC and have now been partially removed to make them less intrusive, the situation is being monitored. If anyone experiences anything that is obtrusive or offensive please let us know, take a screenshot if you can.

Is it a big deal if it helps with revenue? I don't think anyone was seriously complaining about being annoyed or obstructed. It's a website ad, we get it. They were pointing out that it's funny it's for a different game engine.
