Here is the link on steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/314720/ShaderTool/

Been playing around with this tool for few days now and is pretty awesome. All sorts of effects can be produced.
I've made a start converting direct x9 to x11 (shader model 3.0 to shader model 5.0 that GG uses). Am hoping to get some really good old FPSC x9 effects ported over to GG.

There are a few examples to load in and play around with if you find it a bit daunting to start with. There is also a program editor if you want to try your hand at shader programming. It works using node system which is pretty cool and easy to use.
Have a play if you fancy a try and get some different effects into your GG games.

If it had a node based system for writing the shaders as well that would be way more useful... Shadergraph in unity is amazing as even noobs like me can use it

looking at Shadergraph now in Unity. Yes, it's a shame Shadertool doesn't build the .fx while your connecting stuff to nodes as you go along. Just wanted to see if it was any good.

works for me, but I purchased the program. I don't think there is any free download.
