The cast iron look didn't translate that well to game guru, had to resort to concrete colours.

Thanks mate, due to the amount of texture layers and such I working at a slower pace then I would have liked, which generally means I only get around to 4 or so models in a day.

Quite like this barrier.

I wouldn't say "clean" but I get what you are saying.

Any ways the last of the barriers, also like this one, contains over 9 texture layers.

Dirt layer added and some extra detail, think it pretty spot on now, also tweaked the paint scratches a bit as well.

I think if you can smooth out the hose and make it a little fatter it will be A1 ,nice job paintwork look great very realistic

Thought with this model I will do a step by step progress , the rough mesh sketch out of a gas bottle trolley, the cylinders, and the trolley base and wheels, will also show how to add the wheels normals without having to model the wheel tread.
right now doesn't look like much, but going to make the curves for the metal supports, next,. will only edit the post as it's updated.

Looks really good mate. Could maybe use some scrapes and a bit more weathering on the scoop part at the front to portray it being used to lift objects etc. maybe a bit of a bend on the front edge, every trolley I've seen has always had a little ding on the front edge where it's been run into curbs and furniture

Will be doing at least 4 flatbed trolleys, the base is done, which means I can just design the various top configurations as well as changing the wheel basis and such

I always model based on the default character size that way you never get the scale wrong.However I quick test of the flatbed trolley I notice the scale of the default barrels is "off", compare it to the scale I use and the objects scaled down presents far better overall .

So which scale is more correct default or the new stuff

To be honest, it depends on the type of barrels really, but a chemical barrel like that is probably somewhere in between, the height on the original looks about right, they're usually just over waist height, but it's a tad too fat around, they're usually just a fraction slimmer.

Have now started adding additional trolley colours as well, finished off the lockers as well in 5 different colours.After that some new entities. for a workshop and entities to pair with the lockers like a locker room.

So I want to make some more cardboard boxes, in different a colour and few sizes, weathering, missing flaps, unfolded ect, which means I have to UV map each one. As I always do I hit on the idea of creating a template cardboard box which will allow, for having a internal and a external texture for the box and simply requires one template which allows texturing all sides ect.

Only draw back is that there only one block for the internal mesh sides, I could of course resize and have a UV for internal and external, but it isn't really required, so will stick with this design. Much fun to be had

The template only allows for basic shapes, any thing more complex, required new uv map and textures.
