Quote: "I have a suggestion for you. I think to maintain the fullness of the assets list style to do more items such as lights, low poly trees, outdoor accessories, indoor parts, and then it will be very cool content a certain direction. And with the release of EBE has much room for development in this direction. I think this style can become very popular. More cars more towers, traffic lights, sidewalks, bed, refrigerator, table / chairs, tableware, balloons, helicopters, airplanes, etc."
All great suggestions, i was pretty much planning on doing most of this already, but you've given me some more ideas.

The one thing i think i will steer clearing of for now is making any more floor pieces, like paths, sidewalks etc. Now that we have the EBE it makes them kind of redundant, as anyone can just slap down a few floor pieces and stick a texture on them.
Quote: "Perhaps it makes sense to do this in the same style in a set of assets list "SCIFI"
theme."
That will definitely be happening at some stage, but i want to work on one genre at a time, once i've finished with the current genre (day to day modern), i will move on to SCIFI, and then after that fantasy.

Boy do i know how that feels. I'm juggling a 72hour week job, plus a full redecoration of my house, including landscaping the gardens, and a rewire of the electricals. If it wasn't for the fact that i can sneak in a bit of time on Blender while i'm working i wouldn't be modelling at all right now.

This, coming from someone who i see as one of the best modelers in this community, means a lot to me, personally i don't think these models are all that special, they're pretty much just blocks with plain colour textures added, but if you like them they can't be all that bad
Seriously though, my modeling ability has progressed a lot since i started, but i still have a long way to go, i think i have the basic modeling skills down to a fine art so far, it might be time to start looking into learning how to model more organically, but when it comes to texturing, and adding wear and tear to textures i'm struggling a lot, i think that's why i took on this project, because it's just plain colours and no having to worry about matching up textures and painting details. Saying that, even this project has taught me a few things, especially where UV mapping, texture sizes, and marking seems are concerned.
