Yes.

EDIT: Kinda.

EDIT: Sorta.

EDIT: It really depends on how GONE you want it to be.

EDIT: Launch your game in the editor, press TAB twice, and turn down water and reflections all the way, then press tab again. Then either play from there, or exit out and work in the editor again. The water will still be visible in the editor, but not in game. I think.

You can turn off the water if use a trigger zone placed over Start Player marker.

Jerry
thanks for the reply do you Know turning it off in the game is easier then that just use HideWater() in lua. I was wonder about getting rid of it in the editor or lowering but I guess its more of an annoyance than a game stopper.

thanks for clarifying I suspected as much. I was just hoping it was one of the things that was carried over from FPSC that no body bothered to mention because it was just too obvious.

The truth is I built a complicated castle/dungeon maze that needs to be on top of a hill but forgot the hill
and I was hoping for a quick fix
No group select so I couldn't lift it on mass
I tried lifting the land under it and now I know how to simulate earthquake damage,
I tried lowering the surrounding land but working underwater is almost as hard in the editor as real life.(which is why I asked about getting rid of water)

Oh well
thanks all for the quick responses

I don't think there is any way of actually lowering or raising the actual water levels in GG. This may have already been requested in the feature vote.

Water will be vastly improved so you will eventually have all the features you have been requesting and it is on the voting board.
Its pointless Lee spending time adding little tweaks to water right now as a complete water overhaul is on the cards ..

This will include ...

Creating pools of water at different heights in your level. The current system has just one water plane, this new system will let you create many new sections of water.
And then a little later .... Player swimming animation and control, breathing system, snorkel view - Buoyancy of objects when in the water - Under water effects & media content, waterfalls

If it's because you forgot to build the hill under the castle there's a way to fix that. Left Mouse Drag your cursor over ALL of your items until they're all highlighted red then raise them quite high with the green arrow, build your hill, then using the same method lower them down onto the new hill.

Be nice to have a slider like the old FPSC engines, so you can raise and lower it with a slider with the TAB menu. That would be nice.
