Looks really nice but you might wanna be careful using Nintendo characters. They hate people using their assets even for free projects. LOL... they even pull positive video reviews from YouTube of products that people even bough from them just because they are a-holes!

At this point its a pain in the but to get custom characters into GG. Hope it changes soon, but dont really see that happening. Weve been wanting that option since befor it became game guru and they still have yet to do anything about it.....Were talking years here people!

i've uploaded 8 characters and over 150 entities so far not including some old FPSC models. For animated characters you just need to make sure they are .x and are singletracked (would be nice if other formats other than .x could be used). The real hard part is the Lua Script but that's something you will have to deal in any other engine.

@JackalHead : Naturally we have third party artists creating characters and putting them onto the store, plus our own meager efforts of course, but I assume you refer to taking a character you have created yourself and are having difficulties creating a working character in GameGuru. The whole process is pretty advanced for a new user to model a 3D character from scratch, texture it, rig it, animate it according to the animation sequences required for GG, create the FPE that takes in the model and texture media and then apply a script which controls the character in-game and I would certainly classify this as an Advanced Mode. Our focus for the most part has been making the core stuff easier to use (character creation module, entity placement, free flight mode, etc) and have consciously left the more Advanced Mode features to later and instead relying on third party creators to create the files manually (as indeed we do ourselves to create the content for the product, the store and the DLCs). Perhaps you can send me the character you have created so far (with textures and any associated files) and I will see what it might take to get the Import Model system to bring it in quickly and easily. It might fit in with our work with the AI system should that be voted the next feature to be added when the voting board launches.
