That's right there will be no Windows 9

So I signed up and been testing out windows 10 the latest build being 9481 and had to try Reloaded !!

Well im pleased to say it works like a charm and a big improvement over win 8 so far..

However im not so sure about V1.009 .......

Hmmm I really think you should let me try it for you....

It will really put me out but im willing of course

Interesting... that looks almost like a normal desktop with an almost normal start menu. Nice!

Yep Metro has gone and the old start menu is back....But in a metro style that works well..

Reloaded still requires Administrative rights but so far no issues which is good to know as rumours are this could be released in early 2015.
The last thing we want is a new OS with issues so soon

windows 10 is way better for gaming, there optimizing it for gaming, unlike windows 7, cant wait, was going to try this out. everyone can try it out, plus it will be free. no more paying for windows, since Mac OS went free to all, windows couldnt compete and had to also release free windows 10, BUT, you can buy something I forgot what it said, like a deluxe package. waste of money imo for the deluxe or whatever, mostly for the non tech savy.

I've heard nothing about windows 10 being free, apart from while in testing maybe. It would certainly be a radical change for Microsoft if it was released even in a more basic form for free. Still, things are slowly moving in that direction I suppose, although I doubt Mac sales are really the cause. The new Mac O/S may be free, I don't keep up, but I know it also doesn't run on a good proportion of older macs, so not free in reality for most. As Microsoft doesn't rely on it's own PC line as Apple do, I'm not sure they would be wise making it free. Small System builders around the world would like it though!

Me neither and I just cant see Mr Gates losing millions in revenue from business's and users by simply giving it away free...

Even selling it for a pound would probably bring him in over a million..

The now unsupported windows XP is still around £50 and if he was going to give anything away it would be that

Don't hold me to it but that was a quote and they did give windows 8.1 out for free and i believe this is just the push they need to get everyone to upgrade as its going back to what people liked about windows the stink about window 8 is still around (i personally love it and windows 10 feels great as well)

That's true as an upgrade to existing win 8 owners.....Perhaps that's the plan.....the upgrade to 10 may be free which would follow 8.1

but the standalone windows 10 you would probably have to pay for as you do with the full 8.1 now.

Its all guesswork though

Windows 10 will be free for windows 8 and 8.1 user

Sorry for the german link.

For a standalone/upgrade from windows 7/vista you must pay.

A little bit rumor:
Windows 9 will not exist, because there is windows 98/95 and some programs have problems with this

My dream is to develope games, which makes fun when I create it and fun when other people play it.

Not at all! I love using the translators! (neither of mine are working right now though for some reason). I get a kick out of what they say. It's almost as funny as sending a text message on my phone without correcting the "predictive text". I believe that someday these things will work exactly as intended, and we will take them for granted, and future generations will be deprived of this cheap form of entertainment. On the plus side, perhaps everyone will understand each other for once and conflicts will be lessened. Or perhaps there will be more. I'm pretty sure, though, that the person who can come up with a way to convey sarcasm, satire, or irony into another language will probably become richer than Bill Gates!

EDIT: Not that I was using any of those here, I really do get a kick out of the translators!

for months now, beta 1.0085 hasn't worked on my PC windows 8, 8.1 x64 and 32 bits. However, installing windows 10 on virtual machine and running FPCR 1.0085 runs fine. This is crazy.

At this stage with the amount of users using FPSR 1.0085 using the same specs as you ( Me Included ) without problems it sounds like your windows has an issue and maybe not a Reloaded problem ?

Another program conflicting, corrupt files in windows the list is endless.......And the fact it works on a fresh install of Windows 10 rings alarm bells that this is more likely the case......Perhaps a fresh install of windows may be on the cards ?
