Hello TGC friends, Anyone know when the new beta is launched?, Presumably in March would be released, at least you know if you threw the first Monday in April, since last Monday was still being March, greetings and thanks.

Hi,.



Beta 1.006 is currently in alpha testing and we are making great strides, but still need to iron out a couple of performance issues on some machines.



We are still pinpointing the 'stutter' issue that a small number of users are experiencing and have introduced internal tools that are helping to track down the areas of high consumption.



Thanks for your paitence, and the new beta will be released shortly.

I don't think they are ready either, remember every1 on the dev team took time off old project tasks to do performance so I doubt they are done for us yet.

waiting is what we have to do and from what scenecommander has been saying its worth it, but yes would be nice if the other media and beta 6 rolled out at same time at least.. but we get the store also for beta6 right?.

The vegetation pack will be available soon to all Gold and Silver pledgers via the new TGC store with the legacy pack to follow shortly afterward. The new store is easier to use and provides artists more protection for their media, which in the long run, will mean more artists selling, meaning more media available to the developer.



We are aware you're all waiting for the extras, and are working hard to ensure you get the best product possible.



I thank you all once again for your paitence, and once again, would say that I'm sure you will be very happy with the results.

The pack will be available as soon as the new store launches. I don't have a firm date on that I'm afraid.

If it gives you any clues we are pretty much freezing new core feature 'inserts' or innovative new ideas for more performance gain and have moved to solid build testing. This is the part where we only change code for show stoppers and bugs that 'really must' be dealt with before the beta. Sorry I cannot give anything more specific, but it's best we don't build your hopes up, only to dash them. Keep reading my blog for a daily update to what is going on!
