Great, an update quicker then I expected.

I've been really impressed with reloaded since I purchased Gold a couple of days ago. Even in beta stages, because they have been so forward with information, especially the youtube Q&A session.

I am really hoping to use this engine for my first commercial game, after so many years just making free content for other games. All I can say for now is I plan for it to be set in a original part of the world untouched by gaming before, Santiago/Central Chile, South America. Where on my few years experience of being there, there is plenty of action on a day to day basis!

Q: When are melee weapons going to be added? Any ideas of how they are going to be implemented?

I hope the framerates improvements make the engine playable now on my machine. I pretty much haven't touched FPSC-Reloaded after realizing I couldn't create a general level without it being unplayable. Here's to hoping in the new version I won't have that problem

I have a medium to high range PC, with good GFX card and I get 37FPS, with not a lot on the map, so I am sure there is plenty of optomising to come.

From Lees blog today

Quote: "It's uploading for an internal test now, and then I will be ready to uploaded to the main FTP this weekend if Rick agrees that you can all enjoy the performance improvements so far. He's also prepared to delay the update a week in order to add more polish to the release before you get your hands on it, so watch this space for that!"
