To optimise my game for performance, I decided to create a small map which is my town. In the Storyboard, I called it "Town Hub".
A door (placed at the entrance to a Building) in the "Town Hub" map requires a specific key to open. Beyond the door lies a Win Zone.
The Win Zone takes the Player to a map (a reconstruction of the Building's) Interior.
The Player is free to leave the Interior via a new Win Zone. The Storyboard has an output line to the "Town Hub" map.
I tested this all using Standalone Test Mode and also a true Standalone game.
In both cases, the key was present in the "Town Hub" map despite having been collected.
All help would be much appreciated! Julian - increasingly disillusioned and jaded
