@MK83 There is instruction on the discord server where you download them.
But yes you need to make a backup of the Max shaders and overwrite them with the one you download, that's it. And yes if you make a "Validate Files" or there is a MAX shader update you need to do this again.
But sure when you put them in your standalone they never change
