Hi All,

Just bought GGMAX.. mainly to be part of helping develop it and see where it goes.

Just a quick one... Scripting. I've read an awful lot on the general guru script guide sites and here, some great help content! But I'm struggling.
First thing, following guides to add --DESCRIPTION does not make my scripts show in GGMAX.. End the end playing around I had to copy and rename the icon in user folder to same name of script.. and it appeared.
Not sure if it's working or not though! haha!

Secondly, it's been asked plenty but where can I begin to start toying around with camera views and trying third person views myself? Little surprised developers not added a character controller for 3rd person yet... maybe it's that difficult?
I've read global script and found setcameraposition, rotate and even some third person commands. Tried them in my own script but camera always stick to FPS and either looks at different view i changed x, y,z to or is in water?!?!? (changed y?!?).

Any guides or tips, the classic guru script 3rd person guides seem to be invalid now.

Anyway!! Great to be part of this and look forward to getting to know you all.

adding --Description: is enough, remember the properties, init and main need to be the same name as the script file too - i never make icons for my scripts.. not sure why yours aren't showing, perhaps post an example of the script that isn't showing up for you

third person is not a quick task but yes you can do it yourself if you have a character to use and the ability to code
