Hi sacdaly, you don't need a script to make a character sit, you can just use the built in "Play Animation" behavior. But you will need the Animation Booster pack, which has lots of sitting animations for both chair and on the ground.

If you don't want to buy the animation pack, you can always use the character Blender template I released to the community for FREE, and export your own sitting animation that can be used on any character.

Hi Loretta, I'm guessing you want the player camera to move somewhere between the default standing position and a crouched position to simulate the player sitting in a chair? I'm not really familiar anymore with the inner workings of scripts in GGMAX, but I'll bet one of the experienced scripters around here could whip up something like that (assuming there are commands for it).

I had a word with Necrym after i replied to you on Discord and he already has one for the player apparently.
He said he will dig it out so i will keep you posted.

Smallg wrote a sitting script. It's here (doesn't work for the player though, just NPCs, I think - although I'm sure I saw a player one somewhere too...): https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/213322

@bumblepuppy That script from smallg won't work the same for NPC's in GGMAX, it just plays the sitting animation that I had included in the Classic animations. Those animations aren't used for characters in GGMAX. To get all the sitting animations I showed above, you need the Animation Booster Pack and use the "Play Animation" behavior.

Or, you can make your own sitting animation using the Blender/3dsMax character templates I released for free. It's very easy just to put the character in a sitting pose for a few frames and export that animation. It would be a good way to get started with animating characters and you could use it with ANY character included in GGMAX.
