I do so wish users would come back to this forum, instead of discord. It's much easier to get new info. I find discord to be cluttered and not easy to navigate. Just saying.

I totally agree MK83. I am exactly the same and I sometimes feel a bit out of the loop.

well, that's a few of us. I don't understand what discord has, these forums don't have.

Its all about live chat and instant response really.
Its funny to think many come to the discord to mention how quiet the forums are as its the fastest and most efficient way to get a response as to why not many use it

I absolutely agree! The forums are a far more permanent and convenient way to communicate.

Unfortunately, the problem has several angles. First the GG forums where decoupled from the old TGC main forums which separated this community from the rest of the old guard. The original TGC forums are pretty dead as well now. Then there were the Steam Forums where it was clear that a lot of the more casual users were not aware that this forum here exists.

Then we introduced 2 separate discords for max and classic... and the steam forums still exist as well.

Even when this forum was active, the main channel browsed was "product chat"... the other channels were unfortunately neglected.

I agree. I tried using discord for a few months, but just didn't like the format of everything being clumped into one big conversation. And to be fair, it wasn't all that much more active on discord than here on the forums. I saw maybe 10 users at most that posted regularly, 3 or 4 of which were mods.

I mostly lurk here now to see how GGMAX develops, but maybe I should make an effort to post more often

Are you guys just going by Product Chat ?
Most evenings i come here and find new posts in area's like 3rd party models & media, Scripts etc
Even if its just to give thanks

I check here about every day.
