Hi all

I am thinking of making some wooden storage boxes. I was looking at sliding lid opening but a little unsure how these are made. I saw some examples on this site www.customcraftltd.com but couldn’t find any plans. i don't have photo

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hello Oprilu,

You could use this free application Autodesk Tinkercad for your project.

Link to the main web page of that online software : https://www.tinkercad.com/

Hardware and Operating System Requirements : https://tinkercad.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205849108-What-are-Tinkercad-s-Browser-Platform-and-Hardware-requirements-

And this link about its export filetypes : https://tinkercad.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034615794-Tinkercad-export-filetypes-explained

5 bits of wood and a handful of nails will make a simple box.

Assuming you have a hammer of course.
Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!
