Yes and no.
Yes, you can relatively easily convert them, one by one, for gg max. This way you also have a chance to edit out bad smoothing and re-texture them in your own visual style or other adjustments.
No, they won't work perfectly out of the box. You'll probably have to invest a couple hours of work.
If you decide to buy them and convert them yourself for max, feel free to post if you run into any issues.
