Product Chat / Failed to Parse Version List after New Install

After Installing a newly downloaded copy of MAX we get the error "Failed Parse Version List". I have googled and seen this has been flagged previously. I followed the solution for that post to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow you have been away a while
Max went to Steam only a few months back now and the Downloadable version is no more.
You will find a Steam Key in your TGC account and for any DLC's you might have had in Product Keys.
