will this command slowly move my object to another angle

Highly likely in MAX, I've personally not used it.

Maybe it is not the command itself, but how it is used, and without your script, one just can guess.
For example, you declare a condition such as:

Quote: "if h == 6 then
SetRotationYSlowly(e,destangle,smoothvalue)
end"


And maybe h is no longer reaching that value (h=6), therefore the SetRotationYSlowly LUA command, doesn't work.
