Since this software is now full on steam-tagged, I will no longer use it.
How do I contact the developer so that I can either:
1: Have the last version that works without steam that doesn't have the "beta" warning screen so that I can make games with it.

or

2: Refund.

You can send an email to support via their website to request a refund. That's going to be your only option, I'm afraid, as the stand-alone is not going to be updated to v1 and, as such, won't ever be able to produce a game without the warning screen.

The whole idea is its taking up too much development time to keep on top of 2 separate versions.
You can request a refund no problem but i think updates to the Standalone have already ceased.
Just do not activate you steam key in your account, or this will void your request
Contact Customer support via the green question Mark on the right of the page and make your request on the basis you do not want the steam version.
No one ever really leaves.

Thank you very much synchromesh, you have been very kind to me during the short time where I was here.
Hopefully there will be a GameGuru Max 2 Standalone in the future that will not be steam/third party attached where I will come back again to join you guys
