In case anybody wants a button instead of a switch. This is an industrial button with a modified switch script. It will work like a switch except it only plays one animation and one sound each press. The behavior will work on any button model that has an animation for pressing it. Only the animation in the anim0 slot plays. You can use the behavior on a switch too but it will not play the animation correctly. It will only play the first animation then go back to the beginning.

I was wondering if we could have a floor pressure button. Lets say you push a crate onto the button and it opens a door but as soon as you move the crate off the button the door closes again. I think that would be very neat thing to have.

Is it possible

I'm still a noob with scripts but I can see what I can do. I have an idea how I can do that. Let's see if I can figure it out.

If you use a smoothing group on the red cylinders you could get it to hide the faces. Depends though on what software you used?

EDIT: just noticed your buttons appear smoother in this thread, is this with smooth groups applied or just higher poly? https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/223763

I used the default cylinder in Blender. Yah, I should have used more faces. But it was just a test for animating. Thank you for the feedback.

OK, I just tried smoothing..... I can't believe I didn't know you could export the model like that.... I'm a dummy. Lol
