I preordered gameguru max when it was still alpha, the latest version I have is "beta 2" as it's shown in help->about.
However I cant seem to upgrade to the final build.
I would appreciate any help.

Beta 2 is long gone.
You would need to remove that one and download the latest " Tiny Installer " from your TGC account and install from there.
If you originally ordered the Steam version then there will be a Steam key there instead.
No one ever really leaves.

I did not order it from steam, but rather from the game creators site. I can't find it in my account.
