i updated max today. the 6-10 update was the newest it found. then i bought the particle editor tool and installed it. then rebooted the computer. Now i have it in the pull down but it is greyed out and i cant run it. WTF ? please help what am i missing.

If I remember correctly, the true integration of the particle editor was announced last wednesday for "next friday's update" - which would be 6-17, but this seems not to be available, yet (at least not for the download vsn. of MAX until one hour ago). Just wait a little, it'll come to us.

There are some users like me that already own the AGK particle editor via steam or via TGC, so they have to revisit the integration code to make everybody happy, just guessing here.

Does this mean the AGK Particle Editor will fit straight into GG Max and I won`t have to do anything or buy it again ?

We have not had the full details yet on how this will work so best to hold off until after the weekend so we can get some info.
No one ever really leaves.

ah ok my impression from lee's you tube cast was that friday ( the 17) there would be an update that integrated it if you purchased it ( the particle editor) so i purchased it ( it was labled game guru max version i double checked that) and updated however the update wasn't dated the 17th it was the 10th. So i suppose it just wasn't ready yet. That might also explain when i run the file checker on the updater it removed the DLC folder. Hopefully come this friday all is well .

I loaded GG Max for the first time today, I already had particle editor for APK studio ( all bought on Steam) and it would appear that it has fitted in straight away on it`s own. Not tested it properly as this is the first time I`ve used it. Was able to add a particle effect to a blank canvas and all works great. Thank you guys for not forcing us to buy things twice.
