First click on the character that you want to chat with, then on the right side of the screen scroll down until you get to the tab called behavior.
Click that and choose from any of the chatting behavior
First scroll to Behavior on the character that you are using and click on it
Next, choose any of the talking behaviors which the following screenshots shows
Btw there is no sitting behavior yet, hopefully they will add it when RPG comes
