When I place the lights, they seem to located at the wrong x,y,z coordinates. See this video. Could this be the issue why I have issues connecting logic?

The initial placement of lights is a bug that is known and reported on GitHub at least three times already. It is known. But it should not be the reason your switches are not working. I get the same light placement bug and my switches work.

For a quick workaround we now have the F1 key to toggle smart mode on and off ( not a fix )
But it does allow you to toggle off the widget, Place a light then F1 to toggle it on again and move it around.
At least until its fixed properly.
No one ever really leaves.

Not sure if that's in the public release yet or if it won't be out until Friday's release ...
