Before I even begin to talk about this, a very "special" type of troll a.k.a captain obvious will respond with generic useless statements like this:
"All games will eventually be ripped given enough effort, all the AA game's model has been, hence forget it" or something dismissive along that line.

So no, the question is not how to prevent anything from being ripped at all cost, no, that is not the question.
The question is, is there at least some bare minimum "effort" in prevent this from happening ?
Are the generated executable's 3D model/texture/code crypted to some extend ?

Case in Point, and some of you will be horrified to know this so hold on to your papers:
The CopperCube Game Engine can generated apk file, an easy drag and drop game engine that exports to android.
Cool Right ?

Do you know that if you rename the file from .apk to .zip, and unzip the file, the source code of the coppercube game, yes the very source that the developer have, the ORIGINAL SOURCE, is right there ?

So much so that if you have copperCube installed and you double click on that unzipped file, you will have access to EVERYTHING, it is the exact same file that the developer have AND used to develop the game.

No I am not joking....Serious ! I know...mind blown right ?!

The shock and state of disbelief voiced by bigger names that want to use CopperCube to generate android games are drown out by silence, pure silence...

So back to GameGuru Max, are the 3D models/Textures/Code....just...opened ?
Or some effort has been done to at least pretend that some effort has been made to secure it ?
Thanks.

Currently, the stand-alone games are not protected ... yet. Games that are exported from Classic are, so we are assuming (hoping) that MAX will get the same treatment. However, having said that, your models, once imported, are in GameGuru's .dbo format. Only GameGuru can read that format. So, currently, stand-alone games can be easily used by other GameGuru MAX owners, but no one else. Once they (hopefully) include a packer of some kind to protect our games on export, that, too, should be resolved.

Heck, even the AAA games get their assets opened and distributed. It's not just small engines like CopperCube.

If i cannot open .dbo models in a 3rd party program like blender, where can i obtain a mannequin model for user created clothes and other assets once that function is added to character creator?

"Heck, even the AAA games get their assets opened and distributed. It's not just small engines like CopperCube."
Yes as I have already mentioned on the FIRST LINE about the whole Captain Obvious thing, let's not go there please.

Not asking for super invincible thanos snap empowered encryption, just asking if any effort will be made compared to CopperCube's "unzip apk file and source file is right there" situation, that's bad, that's like "are you serious what are you even thinking, are you even thinking ?" level of bad.

I appreciate you talking about the .dbo format, I will have to find out more about that....like...currently I am thinking someone could take your game's .dbo and put it directly in their game ?

Godot does have a packer and it's automated, this is going to be interesting to look towards, thank you Argent_Arts.

I am not sure if this might be helpful to you ThomasG81 but the creator of GameGuru Max have created a LEGAL WAY to do it properly:
https://gameguru-max.document360.io/docs/guides

Directly from the manual:
Character Creator base models in Blender Format

If you're a 3D artist then you might be interested in the Blender files installed to this location;

C:\Program Files\GameGuruMAX\Max\Guides\Characters

In this folder are two files;

base female blender.rar
base male blender.rar

Our lead artist has converted the base male and female character to Blender format. They include some basic animations as well as mouth phenome animations. One thing to note, the normal maps for these characters are in DirectX format which is what GameGuru MAX uses, but Blender uses the OpenGL format. This means you will need to invert the green channel of the normal map for them to display correctly in Blender. We hope you find these of use.

I seriously thought I had answered your question:

In other words, NO ... not at the moment, other than .dbo. However, MAX is Early Access and we hope to see protection in the near future because GameGuru Classic had it. Therefore, we EXPECT to see it for MAX, too.

Noone has that info yet, anyway, you can ask Lee at the next stream
Personally, I think TGC is not going to remove standalone restrictions before providing a protection system; GG does, and there is no obstacle to GGMax to do the same.

Encryption will be added im guessing once it comes out of EA.
Most likely the same as classic to protect not just your models but textures, scripts, audio etc as well,
Right now if you do not want your stuff spread your going to have to be choosy who you share them with.
Unless you do not mind of course.
No one ever really leaves.
