Okay here is my wishlist of ideas i hope are included in future updates:

*CHARACTER CREATOR*

1- First and most importantly-
Ability to import user created clothes, hair, beards etc into Character creator
(I cannot articulate how badly i need this feature)
2- Race and gender sliders (similar to makehuman GUI) or at least have more categories
3- Sliders to adjust facial & body proportions (again, another feature in makehuman which is a free program or even inside
games like the Sims or Fallout series)
4- Ability to use generated characters as Player controlled character

*ENVIRONMENT EDITING*

1- Ability to adjust gravity, limited oxygen system (for underwater/space games)

*ENGINE PHYSICS*

1- A gore system, so body parts explode violently with authentic blood effects when specifically targeted
2- Convincing Ragdoll physics
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
*GUI*

1- For the love of god, please include RTS as one of the game genres covered. There isn't a single decent drag n drop RTS maker on the market, so god knows its needed.
Also i do not understand why puzzler was given higher priority, given the types of games people would be inclined to use this engine for.

Oh yeah, We need a driving/traffic system for FPS/Third person shooter games. That was the other main one.

they can't handle it because they have a different road to develop ggmax and they are not a big team to do this.

The ability to add your own character creator assets (clothes, parts, heads, etc.) is planned and coming. They've made this clear from the beginning, but it's going to be a bit before they get there. They will be creating a document on exactly how to do it, too.

Puzzle was included as a type because it fits perfectly with what they are trying to do here. It's sort of an extension of RPG and shooter, both. It's like what you see when you play games like RealMYST, Quern, and other first person puzzle solving games. And with shooter, puzzle, and RPG, you can mix, match, and combine them (once they are completed). So, you can combat via FPS, then use puzzle elements to solve a puzzle (could be something like finding the pieces to restore a nuclear reactor or get a warp core up and running, etc.), and then have RPG elements to talk to NPCs, barter with traders, etc.

i love gore system but ggmax is out physics right now and i don't think they could do the trick.

I don't get it. Surely RTS is more in keeping with the combat game orientated spirit of the engine legacy.

Yep unless they run out of tasks and lost for things to do.
Rts is a great game play. However i dont think. They will be adding to this as rts is completely different to the fps rpg and puzzle
Rts is strategic and has a lot of forethought needed. I hope one day they would as my all time fav games are

Im 50 now aint a kid travelled the world been in terrorist bombing shot at near kidnapped. Have an audi a house a fiancee a cat and ex dj and promoter and now home Manager. Have a degree and lots of quals and this is actually all true

Was thinking much less about these map-clicking and sidebar clicking affairs and much more of real time action heavy games such as Command and Conquer, Dune, Starcraft or World in Conflict. It would be a simple matter of altering the camera to a top down perspective and replacing the FPS controller with a group select system. In my opinion it would be perfectly suited for the Game Guru Max engine, not to mention it would fill a direly needed blind spot in the market.

Its not that simple.
You can do isometric, top down camera views in GameGuru Classic but the rest of the mechanics are not there.
You would literally have to code it yourself from scratch and no one has managed it yet to my knowledge in classic.
Its a totally different genre of game. If thats the type of game you really want then AppGameKit would be your better option.
No one ever really leaves.

What is the advantage of appgamekit over for example, Unity or Unreal Engine?
Is it still the drag n drop heavy interface for people who struggle at coding? Because if not it doesn't really solve my original problem.
I may have misunderstood the marketing but i was under the impression GGMax when its fully expanded is meant to be a fully comprehensive out of the box solution for most if not all genres.

Non really in that respect but AppGameKit has the mechanics for the that style of game although more aimed at Mobile devices.

Unfortunately not Max has always been planned for First Person games only.

RTS is pretty much a dead genre on PC, except for very few big studios focusing on it (Total War, AOE). I can guarantee that a RTS made in GG will get destroyed by reviewers on Steam since it requires more than just acceptable visuals (balancing and performance).

I'd rather they spend time focusing on perfecting FPS, add features from Crysis maybe (customizable/moddable weapons), bobbing, leaning, etc.

After all the DOS arcade and platformy types, (just because that's what was available back then)...
RTS like C&C, Warcraft became my favorite.
Next comes dungeon crawlers. That little FATE title-- pretty good for it's time.
I'm definitely in the wrong engine- aren't I?!

Before all the above, After ATARI, I dare say this was my first PC game;
I would love if MAX could pull this off.

its not my job to answer questions like this but, i want to say if you want to create any kind of RTS game genre you can go to unity open a new project import some packages a few scripting and after one week of work , you finished your work i finished many many games on unity so you can test it too.
