I did all the steps that Lee mentioned in his thread, even closing and re-open the steam client, but it still prompt me to install the GGMax, rather than let me open GGMax from there, as expected.



what am I doing wrong?
Laptop: Lenovo - Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 1005M @ 1.90GHz

OS: Windows 10 (64) - Ram: 4 gb - Hd: 283 gb - Video card: Intel(R) HD Graphics

2d graphics mark: 947.9
3d graphics mark: 8310.9
memory mark 2584.8
Disk mark: 1146.3
Passmark rating: 3662.4

@3com I just ran it now, I already had the regular MAX installed via Steam. Went to change to PUBLICPREVIEW:



As soon as I selected it, I saw the UPDATE and PAUSE button in the screen, updated for a few seconds and could click LAUNCH again. I suggest switching out of BETA, rerunning client, seeing if you see LAUNCH, and then switching to PUBLICPREVIEW.

Can anyone else confirm they can switch to PUBLICPREVIEW? I have re-pushed Steam publishing option so give it 20 minutes and let me know if you still have issues.
GameGuru Classic will continue to be supported with bug fixes and functionality additions.

Sorry, I can't embed the video since the video tag (among others) does not work for me.

My case is just the opposite, I bought thru steam because it's update system, anyway, then, I was unaware about you are going to provide a fantastic auto-update system built-in in GGMax itself; now I would like to switch from steam to TGC; I'm just waiting a bit to talk with support, I guess you guys are oversaturated these days.
Although I'm sure there might be users that want just the opposite, so, these issues should be addressed.

I had solved this one, now I'm able to test the steam's GGMax.
