I'd love to try VR, I'm excited about it myself. But reality is, according to Steam survey,
only 2.12% of Steam users have VR gear. Most people will not be able to afford a rig capable of VR and chances of it being "big" on PC are very low, anytime soon. And if you want to create a VR title, you go for Unreal first, Unity second (maybe Godot in the future).
Meanwhile, every GG game played on YouTube to Steam has same default UI, splash screen, main menu.. instantly resulting in people giving up all hope on that game title when they see it in action or even screenshots on store page.
I'm still stunned how GUI, particles, AI were not taken care of in GG "Classic", but if TGC is planning to fix these issues with Max, good for them. That's the whole reason a lot of us pre-ordered Max, despite the disappointment GG "classic" was.
I'm wondering how many such features are planned, since not everyone watches every video on YouTube so we are probably missing a lot of information.
