Hi

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong location or this question has been asked/answered before, however I did look for similar issues posted.

I have just purchased a copy of Game Guru Max and downloaded the latest dev release on 23/02/2022. I have installed the Game Guru Max Tiny Installer and the Game Guru Max Bonus Assets Installer. Prior to this I have made sure that my OS, Windows 10 Pro x64 was fully up to date and was rebooted prior to install. The install went fine with no error messages and my system was rebooted after the installation completed.

When I run Game Guru Max I initially get a blue splash screen warning this in alpha product which is fine, it's what I signed up for and expected. The problem I have is that I hear a brief 2 or 3 second intro sound and then I am presented with a black screen and nothing more.

I have tired an uninstall and reinstall after I downloaded the installers again, along with reboots before and after the install. There was no difference. I have tried disabling my anti-virus Bitdefender but this gave no improvement. I have also tried running Game Guru Max as an administrator and that yielded no change either.

My system spec might be a little unusual in that I have two video cards running 3 screens. However I did disable each card and tried running on a single card, this didn't help.

My system spec, is as follows, if this helps with anything.
Processor: Core i7 3820 @3.6GHz 4 core with hyper threading, 8 core/threads.
Ram: 64 GB DDR3
Display adaptors: 1 = Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 SC with 2 GB GDDR4 (monitor 1 & 2), latest drivers applied.
2 = Nvidia Geforce GT 610 2 GB (Monitor 3), latest drivers applied.
Disk drives: 1 = Samsung Evo 860 2 TB SSD
2 = Samsung Evo 860 2 TB SSD
3 = Western Digital Caviar Blue 6TB Hdd
Monitors: 1 = HP 24es 1920 x 1080 on GTX 660
2 = HP 24es 1920 x 1080 on GTX 660
3 = HP 24es 1920 x 1080 on GT 610
OS: Windows 10 x64 21H2 Build 19044.1526 latest patches applied.
Direct x: Direct X 12

Any help getting Game Guru Max running would be appreciated.

It is anticipated that the minimum specification for this product will require an NVIDIA GTX 960 or equivalent graphic card. We have also set the minimum operating system to Windows 10 or above for compliance with the Windows Mixed Reality requirements.

That's your issue right there, GameGuru Max's MINIMUM spec is GTX 960, and that may increase as more features are added.
