Hello, anyone in GGClassic land?
Anyone know how to turn the shine / reflection on for an asset?
When it seems like shininess is usually turned on for objects when it is not supposed to be, this time I need to turn the shine on.
I got the "ancient treasures DLC". I couldn't give the textures there very good reviews for sure, unfortunately. Gold items are as dull as what a desert rock or dirt road should be, but this metal element does have a pretty good luster in actuality. Some pics show it can be near mirror polished-- if those are for real. So just asking for pointers on what to change- appreciate your help.

use you favourite paint application (paint.net is good) drop the _gloss and _metalness in the app and adjust the brightness/contrast of the textures for gloss use shades of grey/black for the metalness change from black or grey to white or light shade of grey if you don't want it like glass

Wow, thanks Graphix. Yours looks excellent! No real crook could avoid that temptation.
In my tests, it works great. Chose to 'Invert Colors' for gloss, w/ tweaks where necessary.

Know what the _ao part is used for? - just curious.
........... okay looked it up = "An Ambient Occlusion or AO map is a grayscale map which contains lighting data"

A little bit like 'normals'? But says it 'softens shadows'. So correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like this texture would be just fine at a very low resolution to save memory/ space. Even 512x512 I would assume?
