Considering the budget of TGC, I doubt GG Max has any paid military experts to ensure authenticity. I have been looking at a YouTube channel the devs might want to check out:

To be honest with a FPS game most people think it needs to be accurate to real life, but i find that the more accurate a game is the less immersive it is and it can break mechanics, sometimes you have to sacrifice accuracy for mechanics in games.

Yeah, I know balances have to be struck. I am sure actual war isn't much fun. But I still want my games to feel authentic albeit in a fun way.

There is a big difference being just a soldier and being a soldier with combat experience

The acid test of an Englishman is if he can make a decent cup of tea under any circumstances - even torture. This has long been a method of exposing non-English spies.

No but they did get a couple of Real Zombies in
TGC are creating a first person Game creation tool not a combat accurate war simulator
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

I think you can make a realistic combat experience with the current version of GG. Slower movement speeds, low health, more damage from weapons, limited sprint, and some scripting for HUD when being shot at. Maybe even make enemies and weapons a little more inaccurate.
