I just recently updated GameGuru Max to the latest version and I am now getting a system error whenever I try and open it.

I uninstalled it, deleted everything, and reinstalled it and I get the same error. The error is as follows.

"The code execution cannot proceed because assimp.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

I checked the install folder and that .dll file exists, so I am not sure why it suddenly gives me that error.

Sounds like your shortcut is wrong ? , try to browse to "\GameGuruMAX\Max\" and start "GameGuruMAX.exe" directly , do that work ?

I did try opening the exe from within the install directory and it is still the same thing. I have never encountered anything like this before. It's so strange. The location in the shortcut is right and even if I go directly to the install folder, it still gives me the same error.

Go to the installation folder and once there run updater.exe, once there verify files.
Reboot when done, and try again.
