I noticed about a month ago or so that all of downloaded skyboxes, terrain types, and vegetation types I have purchased from the TGC Store aren't showing up in the TAB menu when editing them in test mode. Makes me wonder how many entities out of the hundreds of dollars I've spent in the store may not be showing up.

Another big issue I'm having is: the Fog distance is defaulting to 2000, which obviously throws the slider off the screen. Every time I load up a new level, I have to spend several minutes clicking the bar to get the slider back into the 100 or less range so I can adjust settings. (photo attached)

Has anyone else seen these bugs, and is there a solution?

Missing skyboxes in TAB menu are a problem of directory/folder structure. It seems, since the last update, GG can only read the upper folder level in the Skybank (?) directory. I solved this issue by copying the contents in their respective folders right into the Skybank directory.
Like "Skybank/Artist/Polar-Sky" to "Skybank/Polar-Sky".

I didn't check the vegetation and terrain.
Fog distance seems to be a known problem, others are complaining too.

Thanks for the answer to the directory question, Zip. I wish TGC would take a moment to fix the dog slider bug.

you can move the slider by script to automate it
Quote: "SetFogNearest(v)
&
SetFogDistance(v)"

as a temporary fix once you have fixed the slider save the empty level as a template and then load that as your new map each time (just remember not to save over it)

Thanks for this. Didn't know you could do that.

This is great, but shouldn’t someone from TGC actually be fixing it instead of other people finding a work arounds?

This is actually a bug in GGC and a pretty nasty one. If you reset the fog back to 100 or less (which can take as long as 2 minutes to do with clicking from 2000 to 100), it will actually default to 100 immediately after you click away from the slider after reducing it from 2000 to 100. So if your game has fog in it less than 100, the fog will jump to 100 in distance.

Unfortunately all my game projects use near fog to hide "object draw distance popping". I am unable to revert to older versions of GGC as the last 7 or so versions all had required bug fixes for my games and reverting back would only cause more issues and even crashes.

So this going to be offically fixed or is that it for GG?
I only ask, because I don't want to be spending time and money if its not going to be fixed properly. Other wise I might as well wait for GGM.

Hopefully fixed soon. I can't exactly revert to previous versions as I have issues with each that are fixed in each following version. I have not found one that is stable enough to use for my current project. My hope is there are no new issues in the next update.
