First, I am not sure why floor zones, stoping ai going over the edge?
Reading your description and results, I would suggest, it's media, starting entry point, there is a lot going on in your screen.
Why not one floor zone adapted to the space?
Not the way I would be applying, though good luck with your testing and results.
