Before starting this, make sure GameGuru is not running.
1. Open up your gameguru/files/effectsbank/reloaded folder.
2. Find settings.fx and open it in notepad.
3. Locate the following line (should be line 56):
//#define NOCOLOREFFECT // Disable color effect, like: screen going red when you die, or you have little health.
4. Change it to (note it's the same text with the // removed from the beginning):
#define NOCOLOREFFECT // Disable color effect, like: screen going red when you die, or you have little health.
5. Save and close it.
6. Go to your base GameGuru folder and open setup.ini
3. Find the line:
forceloadtestgameshaders=0
4. Change it to:
forceloadtestgameshaders=1
5. Save and close it.
Now run GameGuru and you will have no red death screen, first time loading after the change it might take a while because it is recompiling the shaders. Make sure after you have run GameGuru you change forceloadtestgameshaders=0 back to 1 so you don't get long compiling loads after the first time.
