Just add a 1024x1024 png texture in the "Texturesource" map, I can choose it when pressing right button but it wont change the ground texture to My custom texture, what do I do wrong?

The best way to make it works is by downloading Paint.net. Import the PNG/JPG you want to convert into a texture and click on Save as, select .dds format and it is DONE. Just import the created texture with Gameguru using the textures tool, and it should work.

If you import an image directly from the textures tool in Gameguru, is not working. Use the methods mentioned above.

@Mr Love

Once you become more familiar with converting to .DDS, I would recommend sticking to this image format for GG as it is best for optimizing your game.

Further, if you wish to explore the possibilities, play around with textures at 512x512, 256x256 and 128x128 resolutions. You will be surprised at how much memory you can save whilst allowing your textures to remain the same, on look and fidelity (relatively).
