Hi All,

I have had a request from a former member of the GameGuru Classic community to remove any rogue assets they may still be circulating in our forums. The author is still getting emails and questions about the assets a full year after pulling his 650 free models collection from the forums, and suspects there are still links to his models in the forums. If anyone knows if there are any of his models available in the forums, can you email the link to me directly at lee@thegamecreators.com and I will endeavor to remove them?

The author kindly shared his models for free for use by the GameGuru community a few years ago, but soon learned his models were being sold on asset stores and modified outside of his license, which is why he pulled the plug on them. Any assistance you can provide to help protect the artist's work is much appreciated!

To my knowledge all those model links were removed by the User in his threads and have not been available on the forum. However any user that previously downloaded them may be using them in demo's or their projects.

I will ensure all his old threads are Nuked just in case he missed a link.

That i do not know.
Personally i would not. That way you have no fear of any comeback.
There is no way to prove you got them before he removed then.

What a world we live in An artist kindly shares his stuff for free, then promptly someone decides they can sell them on, not in a game, which was the intended use, but as assets on an asset store. Not cool. There's some unscrupulous types about these days, which is a polite description imo!
