after my last post game guru 2 problem ..
and following synchromesh sujestion
i encoutered the same problem so i desided to say gooby to GG...
since i found that after a couple of tryies
it started to crash ..apearing the blue screen
sayin that an error ocurred..
this happened about 9 times.so i decided to quit GG
BUT later on i decide a last try...
taking the GG MARCH fixes ..
i made a copy paste of GG that is on steam/steamaps/common and
took the GG folder as a copy paste to my DOCUMENTS file and posted there....
and i ran GG ...what i found ...was nothing...no blue screen.no freezes..i could work it as it was new.
no matter i am running the the march fixes... i have the autumm fixes that works better.
so since i dont know to much of this software and its properties since i am not a programer
i migth think there is something between the steam software and GG. or byseversa. something related to the program
......why it doesnot crash on or feezes on my documents folder??but in the steam /steamap/common folder
it freezes or crash?
i post this problem ,(,,if it is a problem.) ..so the moderator(s) can inform about it to the pertinent person(s)
since i do not know how it is done
so that is why i did this post

Sounds like you might have a permissions issue in Windows to me. Did you try running GameGuru as Admin when it was in the default location?

yes i have opened it both normaly and by using runas administrator
on both it freezes..or it appear the blue screen and the computer freezes
so i am usigng the way i am saying took out of steam and is in my documents folder
i have read that this has happened to others users
thats why i migth think there is something between the steam software and GG. or byseversa. something related to the program that migth
be causing the problem

I have to be honest..
Blue screens scream Windows problem to me.
The fact no one else has reported this particular issue makes me weary of that also.
The only difference is launching through steam is launching through the internet so there are a few other things i would look into first.

but i can not find the post .

just wanted to post these.. if some one had the same problem.

i am using gg autumm fixess on my documments folder and they work
perfectly. no freezen ..no blue screen
since i had gg ..the only time it freezes or appears the blue screen .. it happened using gg..on steam on the default place.

with my computer i had not had any freeze or blue screen since i had it about 5 years
nor with my last computer that was damage because it was old 10years of use..
and the motherboard went kapoot. but i have never had any freeze nor any blue screen on my computer..
I am very carefull with how i use my computer, when i am using it.
i will continue using gg autumm fixess for me is more stable

just wanted to post what i found .. if some one had the same problem so to be reported..
