Product Chat / Better to buy on Steam Key or Standalone ?

As the title says, Is it better to buy Gameguru Max as a steam key, or will it be just as good as a standalone ?
Am thinking probably better as standalone, as that way if steam goes down, or does not work for so long, you can still use gameguru as a standalone ?

Are there any differences or benefits from either?

Not really its just a matter of Choice.
Some people hate steam. Personally i would go for the downloadable version then install the latest build via the Tiny Installer.
Thats it .. All your weekly updates will be done through that and you can also help by reporting bugs via the UI.

The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

If we buy the Standalone download, will all the GameGuru DLCs (which are only available with STEAM KEY), be usable in Max?

Id sooner buy the standalone as that way no problems if STEAM ever goes down like it does sometimes!

If you mean the downloadable version of Max then yes all your DLC's will be usable.
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..
