Are we able to use cubemaps with PBR or only with DNS.

I've tried it with an existing cubemap but it is not working for PBR assets unless i'm doing something wrong.
Named filename_cube where filename is of course the same name of the _color and using apbr.fx

yes cube maps work fine, and you are correct with the naming, i have attached a cube ball that i used for testing, just swap the cb_cube.dds with your cube map but name it cb_cube.dds this will allow you to check your cube map.
