Hi all,

After a long break away from the hobby, I'm back, and was planning on creating [free] assets for the community again in my spare time to brush up on my skills, and thought it would be a very useful reference both for myself and for all of the other artists here, to have a general idea of what type of media active members on these boards are in need of right now for their projects.

So, I was hoping it would be alright to start a thread like this one, where non-artists can suggest any model pack ideas, themes or just their general preference in genera (modern, horror, sci-fi, etc.) to the artists here, so the artists will have a bit of a reference to go off of when considering the theme for their next model pack or store items.

I feel like giving the artists a heads up as to what type of media users need before they get to work would be beneficial to both parties in the long run.

Hello
I would like to see American military hummers that are realistic detailed similar to Call of Duty. They would have realistic glass and be PBR. Same thing with other kinds of vehicles, like American military supply trucks. I also would like to see trucks that are civilian transport tucks that are common in most games you know ones with white cabs and white cargo bays for your typical delivery trucks. Sula has some good cabs and containers but nothing like the your typical delivery truck. I would also like to see realistic German supply trucks from ww2 the Opel blitz and maybe some American versions too with PBR and realistic glass. I also would like to see PBR sci-fi rockets and astronauts maybe space shuttles that don't need to be transfer into Game Guru and be PBR. I think it would be neat to be able to make a space station and have astronauts floating around doing things like repair work and things. Also we could use back ground people like repair workers, janitors, you know people doing work in the back ground. Hope this helps

Never been enough good quality (but low-ish poly ) SCI-FI entities.

Need tools, creatures and characters as well as ships, crates, turrets etc.

Hello, Kraven. As shivers wrote just above, an orbital station would really be great (like the ISS or even more futuristic, but with interiors).
At the same time, hummers and space shuttles are not difficult to find on various resources (for a modest fee or even free), an orbital station is a very exclusive and interesting thing, imho.

I've been hoping for someone to make a sheet of glass with a shatter animation.

I'm seeing quite a few requests for sci-fi content, from weapons to turrets to ships and everything else, so I think I'll try starting there. May see what I can do about shattering glass, as well @bluemeenie195.

Hi JC LEON, are we allowed to distribute/sell custom weapons that use GameGuru's stock hand set if they're kept within the Gameguru community?

@science boy, thank you. I'm very much looking forward to creating content for GGM. Ancient building kit? I don't remember that one. I'll have to look through my old FPSC threads to see if I can find what you mean.

I've been considering going through my old posts there anyway, and recreating some of the media I made over 10 years ago (it's been over a decade already? ) to see how far I've come. Might make for a fun, little side project.
